Jan Zuercher

Jan is a key executive with over 23 years of industrial experience in business, marketing and engineering management. He is an effective speaker, presenter and trainer of technical and sales materials. Jan is a licensed professional engineer, published author, and multiple patent holder.

Jan's background includes work with companies such as Ingersoll-Rand and A-C Compressor Corporation as an engineering supervisor and senior product engineer. He is currently Business Director with Enpro Industries, Inc. where he has operations management responsibility for Air Science Engineering compressor systems business including audit and design services, engineering, manufacturing, customer service, sales, marketing, purchasing and quality control. He increased sales 100% in the first year following the acquisition and was instrumental in pioneering the systems approach by justifying the acquisition of Air Science Engineering. Prior to 1999, he was Director of Engineering for Enpro, where he directed a staff of over thirty engineers, designers and lab technicians responsible for design and development of rotary screw compressor and vacuum pump products. Jan earned the coveted "Product of the Year" award from Plant Engineering.

Jan has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison and has completed graduate business courses in Accounting, Operations Research, and seminars in Leader Effectiveness, Engineer as Manager, Innovative Thinking, Advanced Compressed Air Systems and ISO-9001. His achievements include being a Certified Compressed Air Challenge Instructor, an author for Plant Engineering magazine, a Certified AIRMaster+ Specialist, and a Licensed Professional Engineer by the State of Wisconsin. Jan was awarded two patents as Lead Inventor for Energy Efficient Compressors.
